Mo, 19. Jun 2017 | 08:00 - 20:00 h 9th Protein Rainbow Workshop (2017) Beschreibung
The 9th annual Protein Rainbow Workshop will be a hands-on course introducing recent improvements in gel-based electrophoretic technologies. Electrophoretic methods provide irreplaceable basis analytical tools utilized in almost all laboratories in the field of life science research. The course will be organized together with Serva, Decodon and Mercodia and covers theoretical and practical aspects of the methodology including sample preparation, separation (1D-SDS-PAGE, 2D-SDS-PAGE) and detection (Western-Blotting, ELISA) of proteins and data analysis. The course will be supplemented by a scientific lecture afternoon, presenting recent research projects by outstanding experts in the field. The course will last five days and target early stage researchers from laboratories around Europe. In order to provide effective practical training, the course will be restricted to 12 attendees. Participants are encouraged to bring their own samples for analysis (detailed information will follow after registration). Lodging is arranged in Hotel “Auszeit”, which is located next door to the Institute. All matters of this training school are an inherent part of the DDZ proteomics group including many years of experience in arranging international training courses (e.g. COST). The workshop is part of the DZD training and education program. -------------------------------- Organized by: Institute of Clinical Biochemistry and Pathobiochemistry, DDZ Workshop participants: 12 Course fee: 785€ (accommodation included (4 nights); Hotel Auszeit) For registration mail to: rainbow-workshop@ddz.uni-duesseldorf.de
